This morning, we received a wonderful message from Sen. Stephen Sweeney regarding our “Hurricane Sandy Project.” We had an excellent turnout. We appreciate Sen. Sweeney’s support. Check the letter out below.
Dear Dr. Coney:
Thank you for contacting my office regarding the response of the National Stop the Violence Alliance to the impact of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey. I appreciate the opportunity to be made aware of your efforts.
As you are aware, Hurricane Sandy brought a significant and unprecedented amount of damage and destruction to New Jersey, and presented a variety of public safety challenges to officials throughout the state. In its wake, however, the storm has brought out the best in residents across our state, who have banded together to help one another. Your efforts are yet another example of the positive work that has been done to help return our state to normalcy.
Once again, thank you for contacting my office on this matter. If you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact my Gloucester County district office at 856-251-9801.
Sincerely,
Stephen M. Sweeney
